VICTORIA Victoria Beckham–the designer’s new sister label has been heavily-anticipated & in high demand since its release–is now available at AlOthman Fashion in Kuwait. As the only boutique currently carrying the line, we’re very excited to be bringing you this simple yet chic assortment of designs by the inimitable Mrs. Beckham.
Currently, you can find the ‘Cocoon’ dress on our racks, here’s a look at the design in two of four colors available in-store right now:
The first image shows the Cocoon in gold lurex cloqué, the fabric made with metallic thread that is iridescent in appearance. The fabric is artfully manipulated in a way that the texture is raised, and feels embossed.
The above image is the second of the three other available pieces, shown in a Green Tonic memory jacquard silk fabric, which molds to your shape over time. This dress is also available in Vibrant Pink, as well as ‘Midnight,’ a dark navy color.

Last week, VICTORIA Victoria Beckham was officially launched at Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge. The highly-anticipated line’s release is available exclusively the London-based department store’s London & Birmingham locations, as well as on their web site, until February 15th, when it launches internationally.
By day’s end, three designs had sold out, and shoppers were wait-listed by the dozens: the patch pocket, scalloped dresses as well as the cat patterned tunics. The few remaining pieces evaporated quickly from the store’s racks by week’s end. A sales associate is quoted in the Sun as saying, “The first day sales have been phenomenal and the shop floor are inundated with calls, there are waiting lists for all of the dresses. More stock is due to drop over the next few weeks.” Meanwhile, VVB is slated for a February 15th global release.
The floor and window displays dedicated to the line’s debut was very much inspired by the designs themselves, lending mostly from the cat motif. From the window framing to the mannequin heads, the display was accurately fitting of the collection.
A sales associate is quoted in the Sun as saying, “The first day sales have been phenomenal and the shop floor are inundated with calls, there are waiting lists for all of the dresses. More stock is due to drop over the next few weeks.”
And although it’s just been released to the public, celebrity fans have already shown their support: Michelle Williams was spotted in one of the scalloped cutout designs, while Julianne Moore attended a press conference in London last month rocking the inside out dress.

The British Fashion Council announced yesterday the winner of its Fashion Fund Award, co-sponsored by British Vogue. The prestigious accolade goes to Jonathan Saunders and endows the designer with a £200,000 to invest in his business and industry mentorship.
Saunders, whose line debuted in 2008, beat out several other up-and-coming designers, including Marios Schwab, Roksansa Ilincic, Nicholas Kirkwood and Peter Piloto. Nominees, who will all receive industry mentorship, were judged based on their latest collection in addition to a business plan presentation.
“I’m so happy about winning the fund,” Saunders said, adding that he and his team “have many exciting plans for the near future.”
