Lim Swim

Philip Lim, the master of easy casual pretty clothing, has ‘dived’ into the industry of swimwear. Pieces of the very small trial collection,  include an ivory floral printed one piece with a dramatic black halterneck and double strapped back and an equally sweet tie waist bikini. His everyday bags and floaty dresses from the summer compliment the beachy look.

I would love to strut the sandy beaches this summer in a Philip Lim Riviera look, python ruffle sandals included!

The Art Of Heels

Nothing builds your look more than a pair of death-defying and attention-grabbing statement heels. And this season’s women’s footwear sees decorated heels with whimsical petals, colored exotic skins, and fanciful embellishments in the most creative ways.

Christian Louboutin, a staple in every trendy woman’s closet, created heels with the boldest use of flowers. Take your pick from pink or black crepe satin with petal detail at the back of the ankles. These heels will work miracles with a little black dress.

Let your tanned tootsies do all the talking and pretty up your mini-skirts and soft summer cocktail dresses with these Bruno Frisoni’s teal and navy sandal and ruffle details. They were priced at KD239 and now they’re only KD167.

Then there are the Proenza Schouler easy-to-wear creation, taking it’s mint green sandals to a whole new level with its architectural designed heels. You can wear these heels with borrowed-from-the-boys shrunken blazer and a tank top by The Row, and a pair of wide legged pants, or with a structured Calvin Klein-ish modern dress . Were KD269 and now KD188.
