Even though I was ecstatic to see designers or stars in many of the Fall 2009 pieces at the CFDA, I was hoping that at least one person would opt for a garment that would compliment the weather outside the event’s walls.  Then I spotted Tracy Reese looking charming in a spaghetti strap dress with a voluminous floral skirt from her Spring 2009 collection, matching it with minimal but glistening accessories and shoes.  The earthy tones of the Tracy Reese dress are tremendously elegant and feminine, but I personally prefer the blue/yellow runway version for summery occasions.
