As I was flipping through the December issue of Glamour magazine, I found a wonderful spread called “Women of the Year 2009.” One of the chosen women impressed me in every way. This is the first time I post about a stylish woman that doesn’t happen to work in the fashion industry. Marissa Mayer is actually the Vice President of Search Product and User Experience at Google. Yes, Google. Every new venture that the search engine launches goes through her first, and she does it at the snap of her perfectly manicured finger. (Pictured below in her office).

Not only does she hold a strong position at one of the most respected and idolized companies around, but she also has a love for the finer things in life. “When people think about computer science, they imagine people with pocket protectors and thick glasses.” There are no thick glasses in sight, only Armani suits and Oscar de la Renta dresses, like the one Marissa chose below.

Career and style dominance? Now that’s what I call real inspiration.
