Although it opened back in December, the Christian Louboutin Miami flagship store is definitely worthy of artistic mention. Designed by Eric Clough of New York architects 212box, the store boasts one-way mirrors, an installation by Madeleine Berkhemer, and furniture by Bokja.
Louboutin is no stranger to innovation. Wanting to create something very personal for the store, he asked Clough to invent a code of hieroglyphics, symbols and Braille, which were then carved onto the tiny wooden tiles (see above). This definitely adds a new dimension of exoticness to the space.
Overall its just a beautiful store, but knowing Louboutin’s work, I would expect nothing less…
