So here I am, back in Paris in the freezing month of January for the Pre Fall collections. The weather is so amazing, that earlier today when I skipped my way down to a cafe to meet T before our appointments, the snow started to glide down onto me.

Our day began looking at a brand, we are considering picking up, and it looks quite positive. Look out for this one.

We then went on to see Giambattista Valli’s collection. He has changed from his regular showroom and when I walked my way up the unstable steps of a Parisian apartment, I found myself gawking at the absolute magnificence of this place! I wanted to take photos to show all of you, but because they have a publication deal that is exclusive, I will not be able to show it to you until main collection. The pieces were beautiful, with a lot of jersey draping, tweeds, and feathers. Best of all- Giambattista himself was there and agreed to be photographed for all our lovely readers. Isn’t he just amazing (he does have his signature pearl necklace on, my photograph didn’t catch it though)?

Then we had a bit of time, so stopped by Chanel on Rue de Cambon. luckily enough, the Chanel Haute Couture show had just been let out and we caught the models leaving the venue. Below are some shots.

Once inside Chanel, I was surprised to see this Amazonian woman wearing a a gold lame dress that covered her legs, arms, and full head! You could only see her thick boots and her face. And standing by her side was Kanye West. This was nobody but the musical artists and his ‘interesting’ girlfriend Amber Rose. She stepped out of the photograph- but I guarantee you will see her in that outfit on another site soon enough!

We then went to J.Mendel and a stop over at Clements Ribeiro then back home to spend a quiet evening making some pasta with pesto and letting you all know about my day. More to come tomorrow!
