After the mad success of the Olsens first line The Row, they are looking to expand their creativity by adding Accessories.
To be launched as early as Fall 2011, they will be launching both a handbag line as well as shoes.
In my head- I expect it to have the same clean yet structural elements that are found on the accessories of Celine or Givenchy.

A solo exhibition for the Iraqi artist Mohammed Al Shammarey, born in Baghdad in 1962, entitled Rain Song. He has exhibited his work widely in galleries and museums throughout the Middle East, Europe and USA; he participated in group shows at the British Museum, Columbia University and the Station Museum of Contemporary Art in Houston, Texas.

The new display at AlOthman joins the worlds of music and fashion with a glittering rock band theme. It’s the chicest girl band you’ve ever seen, since all the members are wearing the most coveted Balmain dresses. The ladies steal the show with a shining drum set, guitar, and saxophone.
The final touch was the musical notes softly floating above.
One of the dresses in the display was actually photographed on Anna Dello Russo recently. She is one of the most outgoing and fabulously daring fashion editors out there. Anna looks like she should be the lead singer of the band in this shot, rock on!

Kate Middelton, soon to be wife to Prince William of England, has all eyes on her as she prepares for her April 2011 nuptials.
A few designers put together some sketches for her Wedding Gown to consider.
Knowing that she’ll be walking down the aisle at Westminster Abbey, the grand gorgeous church, it will have to be quite a dramatic gown. Of course, the first one that struck me was the oh so elegant vibrant Monique Lhuillier gown. With its full skirt, it would make a beautiful entrance, its long sleeves keeps it elegant, and the wide sash would show off her young slim figure.
Other designers such as Ben De Lisi and Ralpha and Russo also came up with ideas, but none of them come close to the extravagance of the Monique.

While viewing the Oscar de la Renta Spring 2011 runway, I fell mad for the Shibori plaid printed pieces.
I love the way that a massive fashion house still uses the techniques of decades past.
The process begins with folding the shibori extremely tightly between two wooden blocks. These blocks are then dyed to get the square grids. See the tightly wound blocks below.
The result of this is the faded and inconsistent grid lines that you see below.
The final step is to hand paint over the lines to allow them to be even throughout.
A unique process that results in fabulous fabrics.
