The beginning of Day 2 began with the quirky cool collection of Elizabeth & James.
This season in particular I loved because there was a cool element of punk. There were Elvis type bedazzle on their sunglasses, t-shirts fastened with safety pins a la Versace in the 90′s, and high-low hem lines on stripey dresses.

In this extremely hot weather the best thing to do to freshen up is by hitting the beach! Turn heads like Blake Lively with her cool beach style!

And so it begins again, the whirwind week of Resort collections in Paris.
The Summer heat is in full blast in Paris, and as I rock my Saunders summer dresses with my comfy yet chic Proenza flats- I am armed and ready for the collections ahead.
Our first stop was at Oscar de la Renta. There were Latin hints throughout the collection with wide brimmed pom pom hats, ruffles, mermaid silhouettes, and aqua colors dominating the pieces.
I particularly loved their gold plated disc three tiered necklace. Its so glamorous and over the top- it would make everything from a white cotton t-shirt to a long bottle green jersey gown look super luxe.

Now that the Royal wedding is way behind us, we have another extravagant and much publicized wedding to look forward to. You know I’m only referring to the Kris Humphrie and Kim Kardashian wedding!
It’s funny that the bride to be swept the red carpet in a bride looking Marchesa gown less than a year before she got engaged, it’s almost like she felt her engagement was near! Regardless, she looked angelic in the column gown with golden neckline… and she perfected it with minimal make up and accessories.
Kim was recently reported to be wedding dress shopping, who do you think she will choose as a designer? and what kind of style will she go for? My guess is a very skim fitting gown by Vera Wang, and with a beautiful long veil.

Peter Lippmann and designer Christian Louboutin came together once again to create Louboutin’s lookbook for Fall/Winter 2011.
The lookbook was inspired by classic portrait paintings, showing a piece from the new collection in every painting.

Today the spotlight is on modern designer: Marios Schwab, an Athens-born, London based designer who graduated from Central Saint Martins, London. He launched his label in 2005, and was awarded Best New Designer at the British Fashion Awards in 2006. Schwab made his first debut during London fashion week launching his Spring/Summer 2007 collection. Since then, he has received many editorials from major magazines like American, Russian, British and French Vogue.
Marios Schwab continuously wows us with his stunning collections. His inspirations come from influential architects, writers, Museums and gardens. He describes the Marios Schwab Woman as a “young, cosmopolitan woman who is open minded, enigmatic and adventurous.”
Celebrities never seem to get enough of Christian Louboutin‘s SS11 collection, and I don’t blame them! Just look at how Chloe Sevigny slipped into these leopard heels to offset her blue printed dress … this is definitely one of my favorite looks for her.
Emma Stone opted for these printed white and nude pumps to let her glittering dress take center stage. I got myself a pair and I can’t wait to show them off with my summer tan!
Just because I would look like a giant in Beyonce‘s 5.5” heels, doesn’t mean I can’t admire them from far!
