We were overcome with joy and excitement this morning when we found out that last night one of our favorite and prominent designers, Victoria Beckham, has won Designer Brand of the Year award at The British Fashion Awards. It was a close call for Victoria since the other nominees were Stella McCartney , Tom Ford, and Burberry. The emotional and teary designer said: “It means an enormous amount to me. It’s something for the kids to take to school for show-and-tell.”
Congratulations Victoria! Your success is our success!
Winter has arrived and we have some beautiful gowns for your next special occasion. From Erdem we have this cream lace and black velvet combination gown, and this high-collared grey lace gown with draped detailing at the front and back, both appropriate for cool winter days.

Browsing through Style.com’s picks for top Spring Accessories, I was ecstatic to find some of our ordered pieces in there.
Alexander Wang won big with his seafoam skinned strappy sandals as well as their uber luxe leather slitted backbag. Both were very well received after first being seen on the runway, and the buyers, like myself loved them too.
Nicholas Kirkwood‘s stunning iridescent bow sandals also made the list. The second I saw these in the Paris showroom, they were on my feet and I danced around in them. I must say, I personally proffered the more yellow tone, but both offer that same glamorous feel. Can’t wait to get them in store in a few weeks!
Janet Jackson rocked in this Marchesa asymmetrical corset and velvet flared skirt. She accessorized the look with a black cuff, funky updo, and her signature smile. I’m glad the corset was nipped at her waist with a band, but I wish she had opted for statement earrings (I’m thinking emerald or ruby encrusted ones). Otherwise, I must say that she hasn’t looked this good in a while!

Tina Fey brightened last year’s SAG Awards in an embroidered floral guipure Oscar de la Renta gown. After some questionable red carpet choices, I’m glad our favorite funny lady was able to redeem herself! I’ve never been a fan of red gowns on the red carpet, but the guipure lace sure made the color very romantic. Tina completed her look with statement diamond drop earrings, a black clutch, and an elegant side do.
