The main reason I love pre-seasons is because the designers truly come out with great investment pieces that look gorgeous, are always unique and are easily transitional with the changes of weather.
A new additional post we are adding to the blog is “Investment Item” which we share with you our latest merchandise which we believe would be a great investment to your wardrobe (although we believe every piece sold at AlOthman is a wonderful investment).
Let us first start off with the winter essential: the boot. Channel your inner vixen with Oscar de la Renta‘s Scubella Neoprene Thigh High boots.

If, however you prefer more decorative and glitzy footwear to beat the winter woes try on the Octavvia crystal and mesh bootie.

You are all very familiar with Balmain, who is known for his be-shouldered, embroidered tuxedo blazers, however, are you familiar with the younger diffusion line Pierre Balmain?
The new line by Balmain was recently debuted last year. With only two collections, the lower-priced brand has established quite a buzz! Whilst Balmain is known for being over the top, and lavishly decadent, Pierre Balmain, on the other hand, is extremely toned down. The brand has a more cool street-style vibe with lots of zipper detailing and athletic boxy boyish cuts

The brand was established in a response to the demands of the current marketplace -mainly being affordable stylish clothing. Thus, prices of PB items are generally lower than the big brother brand Balmain. We at AlOthman Outlet will be bringing Pierre Balmain to you at even more affordable prices online, so keep on checking our website for more updates on the brand!

Jessica Biel sure knew how to stop the red carpet traffic in her Nicholas Kirkwood for Roksanda Ilincic pumps with neon block heels. There is nothing else to say except that I have not seen her look this good in a looooong time… I guess being a future bride agrees with her!
Jessica‘s heels along with the rest of the Nicholas tantalizing summer collection are available at AlOthman.

As I walked into the Balmain showroom last March, I fell in love with the decadence and detailing of the collection.
The pearls strewn through jackets, the crystals in their criss cross shapes, and plush fabrics from velvets to satins.
All I could imagine was the beauty and details of Faberge eggs as though they were formed into clothing and worn.
Luxury at its finest.

As I was spending my time enraptured by the blog of the the amazingly stylish Jane Aldridge from Sea of Shoes, I came upon a few photos of a Proenza Schouler clutch from a few years back.
Take a look and notice how beautiful pieces, never lose their charm.

Known for her flirty girly party dresses, Erin Fetherston’s designs never fail to evoke energy and fun! With strapless petal dresses, drop-waist pleated skirts and exaggerated chiffon sleeves, Erin’s line is magical, yet modern.
Her festive frocks have been extremely popular on the red carpet. Celebrities like Rachel Bilson and Zooey Deschanel were recently spotted in Erin’s pieces.

Bilson (Above) dressed up her ruffled dress with a blazer adding a more serious touch to the dress.
Here are a few of our favourite Erin looks from the outlet! (Available online)

Helmut Lang, the label designed by the husband-and-wife team Michael and Nicole Colovos, Colovos felt like it was time to switch things around. The new Resort lineup is still recognizably cool, but it has a boxier, slouchier look. “We wanted something more boyish,” Nicole said.

According to the designers, Kate McGwire’s feathered sculptures served as an inspiration for the movement and texture of the new offerings.

The contemporary market that the label dominates is now digital print-crazy, and with this abstract print looks great even easy dresses.
Exciting new arrivals here at AlOthman!

Matthew Williamson‘s Pre-Fall 2012 collection was inspired by Russian palace interiors and the sudden fascination with everything Czar! The designer teases us with this season in order to anticipate his Fall collection, lush winter colors in purple, teal and sunset orange adorn the collection as well as his infamous print making.

Matthew Williamson Pre-Fall 2012 is now available at AlOthman store!
The store is open from Saturday to Thursday 11:00 am – 2:00 pm and 8:30 pm to 12 am.
Looking forward to seeing you on our shop floor.

We’re starting this week with a Ramadan-inspired look from our Summer Campaign! Our stylist Confashion did a great job dressing up this simple kaftan! By adding stacks of beaded necklaces, a wide stone-embellished waist-belt, and lace-up Nicholas Kirkwoods, the model looked like she was ready to host a Ramadan feast! Check out the rest of the images from this look below!

During summer weddings we are always in need of gowns that are thriving on color and glitzy detailing, and ofcourse we can always turn to Oscar de la Renta to fulfill that need. Here is Ashley Greene showing off one of his statement cocktail dresses for the red carpet. She paired the frock with a metallic belt and black pumps, and she finished off the look with bouncy curls, pink lips and a gorgeous smile! Even though the dress should not be overpowered by accessories, I still think Ashley would have aced this look in colorful satin sandals and a neutral colored clucth… the black accessories look too heavy on her!

Another show stopping piece was worn by the one and only Sarah Jessica Parker at the Harry Potter premiere, an Oscar de la Renta column gown with water colored print. Yet since she was attending the premiere with her son, SJP decided to dress it down by pairing it with a blazer and a purse. That’s how amazing she is, she still manages to steal the spotlight even with the minimal effort she put into her look!
Both Oscar de la Renta pieces are available at AlOthman.
