Just in time for Christmas, we received our own personal copy of Christian Louboutin‘s first book Christian Louboutin 20th Anniversary Book by Rizzoli New York.

The book showcases Mr.Louboutin‘s biography, his early creations and inspirations, all of his beautifully crafted handmade shoes and an inside look at his boutiques and home interiors. Louboutin also includes some exciting collaborations with David Lynch and special editorial appearances made by his friends starting from Diane Von Furstenberg to Dita Von Teese to Mika!

A true work of art, the book’s foreward is by John Malkovich with contributions from Eric Reinhardt and photography by Phillipe Garcia and David Lynch! Talk about star appearences!

“Rizzoli approached me to work on a book together and it happened to be perfect timing as my 20th anniversary was approaching,” Louboutin stated, “Without a doubt my favorite element is the photography of the shoes by Phillipe Garcia. In researching the book, I was also obliged to revisit my own personal archive of photos and sketches and I was impressed at the amount that I had saved from those early days.”
