Asian Print

As we have seen in previous pieces how many designers were inspired by art and nature, this time we see a collection that was inspired by an entire culture.

Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos took inspiration from “various Asian subcultures” for Autumn/Winter 2012, Japanese ‘light trucks’ and Chinese opera masks.

With the use of beading, embroidery, sequins and cut-out panels to create 3D patterns, it created  that experimental, artsy, and hyper-feminine look that is difficult to not be taken by.
