The High Line is a mile-and-a-half-long elevated park set above ground in the heart of the Meatpacking District in New York City. The green park is developed on an old rail line; it features an integrated landscape, combining meandering concrete pathways with naturalistic plantings, and fixed and movable seating. Now that’s what I call innovative landscape architecture.
The project has inspired artists and designers alike. Photographer Joel Sternfeld photographed the High Line during the different seasons called “Walking the High Line,” which in turn inspired designer Zero+Maria Cornejo to create capsule collection exclusively for The High Line organization. Created collection is made out of silk charmeuse with abstract-like prints based around the photographedpictures, resulting in a beautiful collection.
The loop scarf, top, and dress will be available at Zero+Maria Cornejo stores and website with part of the proceeds going to ‘Friends of the High Line’ organization.
Zero+Maria Cornejo’s main line is available at Al Othman.
